Permitted Use

You are free to use the FPRates Agile API and data for:

• Personal use, including home automation and battery storage scheduling
• Non-commercial hobby projects and personal tools
• Free websites, free apps, or open source projects — provided clear credit is given to FPRates with a link to fprates.online

Prohibited Use

The following uses are strictly prohibited without prior written permission from FPRates:

• Any commercial use — including paid apps, paid services, paid APIs, or any product or service where revenue is generated directly or indirectly from FPRates data
• Reselling or redistributing FPRates data as a standalone product or service
• Using FPRates data to train machine learning or AI models for commercial purposes
• Scraping or bulk downloading data in a way that places excessive load on FPRates servers

All data provided by FPRates is offered as is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied.

FPRates Agile data is provided for information only and may differ from the rates Octopus actually bill. FPRates accepts no responsibility for any financial loss, incorrect billing, improper battery scheduling, or any other consequence arising from the use of this data.

You use this data entirely at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FPRates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

• Use of or inability to use the FPRates website or API
• Inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed data
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Any decisions made based on FPRates data

Service Availability

FPRates reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the API or website at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to maintenance, abuse, or commercial pressures.

Changes to These Terms
